Dr Daniel Silverstone completed a PhD on drug use and drug dealing within the Night-time economy which is currently being prepared for publication with Routledge. He has published articles this year on emerging organised crime trends  in global crime (see below) and is currently researching 'girl gangs' and 'gang families'.  Daniel is also involved in the supervision of several prof docs and was previously the course leader of this degree award at Portsmouth University.
