New Lunchtime Seminar Series for 2008:

Social Political Identities and Tackling Workplace Discrimination

Starting from Wednesday 6th February 2008 through to Wednesday 3rd December 2008


This new series will bring together a range of activists and academics, to explore experiences of work-related discrimination and corresponding categories of mobilisation. Keeping in step with our close ties with the labour movement, each session will also raise issues for trade unionists in Britain, as they attempt to organise marginalised workers and tackle inequalities.

WLRI Trade Union Seminar Series 2008:

Starting from Wednesday 20th February 2008 to December 2008, 5 - 7pm

The WLRI Trade Union Seminar Series 2008 is open for anyone interested in trade union issues and promotes debate between activists and academics involved in struggle. The seminars are free and there is no need to register in advance. This year they are held on the third Wednesday of the month, 5.00-7.00pm, starting on 20th February 2008.
