Working Lives Research Institute
WLRI, as a partner in a consortium of seven European institutions, coordinated by the European University Institute in Florence, has been awarded research funding by the European Integration Fund for Third Country Nationals.
The 18-month project, MEDIVA, starts in January 2011. It aims to achieve a better understanding of the media capacity to reflect diversity in society; to provide for EU wide indicators for assessing this media capacity; to rate media across Europe with a view to raising awareness among media professionals, media companies and the general public, and to promote exchange of best practices through the organization of regional workshops.
