WLRI joins forces with Faculty of Applied Social Sciences


WLRI moved into the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences (FASS) on 1st August 2010.

Prof. John Gabriel, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Working Lives Research Institute into the Faculty. It brings with it an outstanding reputation and track record in social science research which I'm sure will lead to new and exciting collaborations with staff as well as enhance the learning opportunities of our students.”

Prof. Steve Jefferys, Director of WLRI, said: "Having the support of an even wider mix of disciplines within Londonmet's Faculty of Applied Social Sciences is really great news for the Working Lives Research Institute. At a time when the struggle for social justice at work and in people's working lives is still more important than ever, we're looking forward to an even brighter future."

The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, is an exciting, multidisciplinary faculty in London Metropolitan University, one of the largest social science faculties in the UK, with over 40 high quality undergraduate, postgraduate and short courses in a wide range of subject areas.
