Project Summary

The CIA project proposal was fast tracked by the INTERREG IVC Monitoring Committee. WLRI will work with 10 other European partners under the coordination of 'Aufbauwerke' as the German lead partner.

The project builds on best practices related to the management of demographic change developed under the funding stream which the ESF6 funded CAWA project was part of. The focus of the ESF-CIA project is on the transferability and further development of these best practices into regional action plans.

See the ESF-CIA project website for more details: http://www.esf6cia.eu/

Issues & Methodology

In cooperation with regional managing authorities existing best practices will be collated and then presented, discussed and transferred through intense collaboration between the project partners and regional managing authorities.

The methodology consists of using portfolios, workshops, seminars, visual presentations, such as photos and films as well as detailed face-to-face discussions and conferences leading to regional action plans.
