Funding for a follow up project has just been received!
ESF6 funding for a 2 year Capitalisation project called:
Capitalising Innovative Approaches towards Demographic Change (CIA) has just been announced by the European Commission. The proposal was processed and was fast tracked and the project will run from 1. July 2008 - the end of June 2010 involving 11 European partners with 'Aufbauwerke' as the German lead partner.
The project builds on best practices related to the management of demographic change developed under the funding stream which CAWA was part of with a focus on the transferability of these best practices. This transferability aims particularly, but not exclusively at the new member states which were not eligible for funding under the previous stream. In cooperation with regional managing authorities existing best practices will be identified and then presented, discussed and transferred by means of portfolios, workshops, seminars, visual presentations, such as photos and films, detailed face-to-face discussions, conferences and action plans.
