One of the key objectives of the CAWA project was to formulate European Guidelines for Innovative Practice related to the employment of older workers. This guidance provides a practical tool for employers, employment related bodies, social partners, trade unions, older employees and other organisations as they develop their approaches to age inclusive workforce management.
This European Code of Innovative Practice is the result of two years of research and discussions in four European Countries (UK, Austria, Sweden and Spain). The code/guidelines take the cultural, social and legislative frameworks of each of these countries into consideration.
