About the Partnership

The aims, objectives, scope and methodology of this project dovetail with the normal activities of the partner organisations. National-level projects on the issues of age discrimination and labour market access are under way or in developmentin all of the partner organisations, providing a high level of synergy between the Creative Approaches to Workforce Ageing project with its pan-European and comparative perspective, and the nationally-focussed work and activities of project partners. The project partners are also all well integrated into social partner networks. These vary in significance, of course, according to the particularities of the national employment relations system, but in each case provide excellent access to differentnetworks of employers, human resource managers and to local government.

The WLRI has overall responsibility for the management and co-ordination of the Article 6 Creative Approaches for Workforce Ageing project (CAWA) and is directly accountable to the European Commission.

At national level, a co-ordinating partner leads a cluster of organisations in delivering the project in each of the project partner countries (UK, Austria, Sweden, Spain and Bulgaria). The national partnerships include key stakeholders from local/regional/national government, sectoral bodies and social partners.

The national co-ordinating partners for each country are as follows
