Research Fellow
Simone joined WLRI in May 2006 and is currently working on a European research project investigating changes in work organisations and the impact of restructuring processes on organisations and workers.
In 2003, she joined Analytica Social and Economic Research as a Research Officer where she has been involved in a range of European and international research projects on restructuring of work in organisations, global outsourcing and issues of equality & diversity in the workplace.
She also teaches Research Methods to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Department of Applied Social Science, London Metropolitan University.
Simone’s research interests include the impact of restructuring processes on organisational processes and individuals, changes in occupational identity and perceived quality of working life.
She is also interested in developing better research methodologies for organisational research, in particular the case study method and qualitative research approaches.
