What is taught?
The Struggle for Workers Education
This
module provides an introduction to, and understanding of, the history
of trade union/workers’ education in the UK. The module draws parallels
between the role of trade union learning in the past through to the
present and offers a context for ULRs in terms of their current
practice as educators.
This module:

Helps students to understand the history and role of trade union/workers' education in the experience of working class people

Enables students to situate and analyse their contemporary practice as ULRs within a historical context
